B2B Studs & Rafters

* All Back-to-back studs directly under the point load are screwed at the centre every 150mm along the web member (Screwing B/B studs together makes them 2X stronger than 2 single studs for better axial load distribution).

** B/B rafters are screwed with tek screw @ every nog and no further than 1200mm apart.

Strap Bracing

* To prevent buckling failure due to lateral load induced by wind & seismic loading, we use 150mm (or above) strap bracing for all load bearing & external walls.

** Our Steel frames comes with bracing and strap tensioners. All that installer has to do is to tighten the tensioners onsite during assembly.
